This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the SolonX Android app. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices and how we safeguard your information.
1. Transparency and Data Handling
We are transparent in how we handle user data collected from or about you, including device information. This includes disclosing the access, collection, use, handling, and sharing of your data from our app. We only use your data for purposes that are policy-compliant and reasonably expected by you.

We may handle personal and sensitive user data, including but not limited to personally identifiable information, financial and payment information, authentication information, phonebook, contacts, device location, SMS and call-related data, health data, Health Connect data, inventory of other apps on your device, microphone, camera, and other sensitive device or usage data. Here’s how we handle such data:
- Access and Use: We limit the access, collection, use, and sharing of personal and sensitive user data to app and service functionality and policy-conforming purposes expected by you. For instance, we may use your location data for features like location-based services.
- Data Security: We handle all personal and sensitive user data securely, including transmitting it over secure channels (e.g., HTTPS) to protect your information from unauthorized access.
- Consent: We obtain your consent through runtime permission requests when necessary before accessing data gated by Android permissions.
- No Sale of Data: We do not sell personal and sensitive user data to third parties for monetary consideration.
3. Prominent Disclosure & Consent Requirement
In cases where data collection may not be within your reasonable expectation (e.g., in the background), we meet the following requirements:
- Prominent Disclosure: We provide in-app disclosures within the app itself, describing the data being accessed or collected, how it will be used and/or shared. These disclosures are not buried in privacy policies or unrelated disclosures.
- Consent and Runtime Permissions: We request your consent clearly and unambiguously before collecting or accessing personal and sensitive user data. We require affirmative user action for consent and do not use auto-dismissing messages as a means of obtaining consent.
4. Third-Party Code
If our app includes third-party code (e.g., SDKs), we ensure that such code and the third party’s practices with respect to user data from our app comply with Google Play Developer Program policies. We do not allow the sale of personal and sensitive user data by third-party providers.
5. Restrictions for Personal and Sensitive Data Access
We adhere to specific requirements for certain activities:
- Financial or Payment Information: We never publicly disclose personal and sensitive user data related to financial or payment activities.
- Phonebook or Contact Information: We do not publish or disclose non-public contacts without authorization.
- Anti-Virus or Security Functionality: If our app contains anti-virus or security features, we post a privacy policy explaining user data handling.
6. Payment, Refund, and Subscription Terms
- A free 14 days trial is offered without the need for a credit card.
- To continue using the Services after the free trial period, you must begin a paid subscription which requires a valid credit card. Enterprise customers may request a paper contract that includes alternate billing arrangements including purchase orders.
- Paid plan subscription fee are charged for each store or outlet as per month/year basis.
- The Service is billed on a monthly and/or annual basis. In both cases, the amount billed is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service.
- Each term shall automatically renew for subsequent periods of the same length as the initial term unless either party gives the other written notice of termination at least thirty (30) days prior to expiration of the then-current term.
- Information on the subscription options and charges for all paid Services is available in the pricing page of our website.
- SolonX reserves the right to change the subscription fee from time to time.
- In case of non-payment for any reason or any violation of these terms, SolonX shall be entitled - without liability - to immediately bar Customer's access to the Service.
7. Data Safety Section
We maintain a clear and accurate Data Safety section for our app, detailing data collection, use, and sharing. This section is consistent with the disclosures made in this privacy policy.
8. Privacy Policy
We provide a privacy policy link within the Play Console and within the app itself. Our privacy policy comprehensively discloses:
- Developer information and a privacy contact point.
- Types of personal and sensitive user data collected, used, and shared.
- Secure data handling procedures.
- Data retention and deletion policy.
- Clear labeling as a privacy policy.
9. Usage of App Set ID
We do not use the App Set ID for ads personalization and ads measurement. We do not associate App Set ID with Android identifiers or any personal and sensitive data for advertising purposes. We disclose the use of App Set ID to users and obtain consent where required.
10. EU-U.S., Swiss Privacy Shield
We comply with all applicable privacy, data security, and data protection laws when processing EU Personal Information. We implement necessary measures to protect EU Personal Information and provide the same level of protection as required by the Privacy Shield Principles.
